What is it?????

I came home from work last night did the dinner dishes and went straight to bed. I didn't go into the living room. This morning I came downstairs and settled at the computer to do my morning email and blog check. I turned around and this is what I saw on the floor. A nice little pile of erasers. Please tell me what the attraction is to these little things that don't get used as actual erasers! Why are they in every birthday treat bag she brings home from school? What is it about them that she loves? Why does she have to collect them? I'm trying to understand but I just don't get it.

Have Fun!

Cindi do you not remember Stephanie had a whole bag of erasers, I think she still has them and she is a Junior in College. That is just the beginning of her collection!!!!!!

Hi. I found your cooking blog through a link to a different cooking blog from my Aunt's blog. Anyways, when I was a kid I collected these types of erasers too. I had more than this picture here shows. And I never used them. They were just to keep and collect. I had a tin with all my erasers in them and I would line them up by height and size. Then I got a few that were scented. Those became My new favorite right away and I collected those for awhile. Until I got one that was supposed to be apple scented and it gave me a headache every time I smelled it and it turned all my other erasers that smell and I had to get rid of the whole collection because of the headache. Then I started collecting keychains instead.
I don't know why I'm telling you all this, I guess I am sympathizing because now I have a son and he collects everthing including rocks. The box of rocks is so big he can't even carry it anymore, his bedroom door is covered with stickers and his baseball card collection has filled all my spare binders.
Anyways, that is my story. My name is Rebekah and if you want to check out my blog you can see it here - but it's not all that great.
